An unusual bend to keep our customer safe and happy.
Our customer and family wished to have the stairlift parked away from the stairs so that seating was as safe as could be on both floors. They also wished to keep a table so that the customer’s phone and alarm bleeper could remain plugged in as usual.
No problem with the Modul-Air
Our surveyor was concerned that the customer could trip or catch themselves on a standard rail ending in the hall when leaving the living room and that the stairlift would also cause a blockage in the hall if a 90 degree bend was used .
After a technical survey our surveyor in conjunction with the manufacturer were able to specify a rail that bent round further than normal. This moved the rail out of harms way and left the stairlift parked to provide the most room possible. As a bonus there was still room for a telephone table!
The pictures show how adaptable the Modul-Air can be. This solution was exactly what the customer was expecting and is as safe as Norfolk Stairlifts can make it.
