6 Steps to Your Perfect Stairlift
Finding the best stairlift for you or your loved one!
At Norfolk Stairlifts we pride ourselves on finding the most suitable stairlift for your home and most importantly to suit you or your friend or relative.
We differ considerably from all our competitors because we stock such a wide variety of different stairlift manufacturers’ makes and models. This allows us to find the most suitable stairlift for you and within your budget, without being biased towards any specific brand or model.
Our 6 step process is at the heart of our company and is the cornerstone of finding you the best stairlift solution. Our assessment is based on the type of staircase, your individual needs, the available access at the top and bottom of the staircase and any obstructions that need to be taken into consideration.
Step 1: Your Staircase
Factors we consider, when recommending a staircase for our customers, include whether the staircase is straight or curved; steep or narrow; has space to park at the top or bottom and if there are any obstructions, such as handrails or doorways.
Step 2: Your Mobility
Personal requirements can also affect the type of stairlift that is right for you or your loved one. Any specific mobility issues and/or disabilities will be taken into account, when recommending the most appropriate stairlift for your needs.
Step 3: Your Home
It’s important to understand how your home is currently being used, not only by the stairlift user, but also by all other members of the household. A stairlift can make a tremendous difference to your life and understanding your daily routine will ensure that we’re able to recommend the best stairlift.
Step 4: Our Recommendation
Once we’ve made our assessment, we will recommend the best stairlift available for your individual circumstances and needs. We will talk you through our quote, ensuring we are clear with our price and offering.
Step 5: Our Delivery & Installation
The delivery and installation of your stairlift will depend on the type that you choose. Once you’ve decided which stairlift you would like, we will aim to have you booked in at the earliest mutually convenient date. We always communicate with you up until the day of installation, keeping you fully informed. A straight stairlift takes on average 4 hours to install and a curved stairlift installation can take up to 8 hours. Once our specialist engineer has completed the installation, they will ensure you’re fully trained and happy using your stairlift.
Step 6: Our Stairlift Guarantee
We pride ourselves on offering you a stairlift guarantee that you can trust and believe in. Our new stairlifts come with a 2 year guarantee as standard, our reconditioned stairlifts have a 1 year guarantee and with our rental service all maintenance is included. Looking further forward? We also provide comprehensive ‘Keep moving up…’ contracts to support your equipment for the years to come.
