Norfolk Stairlifts have recently installed an Otolift Air Curved Stairlift in Southwold, Suffolk.
The Otolift Air is particularly suitable for installation on the inside of the staircase. As you can see from the pictures there is an ideal parking space for a stairlift at the bottom on the short side of the staircase.
Perfect for the inside of the staircase
The Otolift Air Curve Stairlift supplied by Norfolk Stairlifts is the smallest single rail stairlift currently available. Its rail is hardly noticeable when fitted and the seat is equally as stylish. It is suitable for almost all curved staircases. It is available in 125 kg load capacity. It is particularly suitable for fitting on the inside of staircases where its ability to bend and turn quickly are of most benefit. The rail sits very low over the stairs making it less visible than other stairlifts.
This Otolift Air Stairlift, from Norfolk Stairlifts is available in fabric, synthetic leather or real leather seat coverings. Any of the coverings are suitable for domestic use, with the synthetic leather being best for multiple users. There are 10 colour choices in the range.
This Otolift Air Stairlift installation in Southwold has ensured the couple have regained the use of the upstairs of their house.
Southwold has a famous pier. Southwold Pier was built in 1900. At 247 metres (810 ft) it was long enough to accommodate the Belle steamers which carried trippers along the coast at that time. In World War II, it was weakened by two breaches, and in 1955 a large section was destroyed by a gale. The pier was entirely rebuilt and restored in 2001 and is now about 190 metres (620 ft) long. Whilst many English seaside piers are in decline, Southwold Pier is enjoying renewed popularity, helped by a collection of modern coin-operated novelty machines made by Tim Hunkin and the occasional berth of paddle steamers such as PS Waverley and the MV Balmoral.
A model boat pond adjacent to the pier is used for the Southwold Model Yacht regattas that have been held since the late Victorian period. Some of the boats entered are up to 80 years old and include replicas of beach yawls. Regattas are usually held in the spring and summer with the largest, the annual regatta, held at the end of the summer season.
Norfolk Stairlifts give a two year guarantee on new stairlifts. This guarantee offers great peace of mind to the owner as it covers callouts, parts and labour everyday of the year up till 10pm.
The Stairlift is also serviced after the first year at no extra expense to the purchaser.
