From 15th – 17th September, our Managing Director – Sam – alongside friends, Doug and Steve (Team SDS) completed the 49 mile trek along the famous Peddars Way!
Check out the full story behind the challenge in our previous post.
Team SDS completed the long distance trail carrying all of their own support gear, which ended up weighing in at a rather uncomfortable 15kg per person. A massive thank you from the team to everyone that donated to this amazing cause. Having set a fundraising total of £1000 – which they then upped to £1500 – the team ended up raising an incredible £2,298 *£3,335 for the East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA)!

The East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) is a cause particularly close to the heart of one of our participants, Steve. Before her passing, Steve’s nan was rescued by the EAAA after sustaining a badly broken ankle. Right up until her final days, Daphne was a firm supporter of the EAAA and this challenge is being completed in her memory.
Providing coverage across Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by air and road, the EAAA Charity need our continued support. Head over to the EAAA website to find out more about this amazing charity.

EDIT: 26th September –

Following a successful fundraising event at The Old Bell Public House, Saham, including a large raffle and some great music from Steve’s brother, Lee – encouraging many more generous donations – the final fundraising total was a whopping £3,335! The JustGiving page is now closed and they will ensure that all these much needed funds are sent to East Anglia Air Ambulance.
Big thanks, from Sam, Doug and Steve, to everyone that donated in support of this fantastic cause.
