Straight stairlifts fit all straight stairs don’t they?
Straight stairlifts use straight rails that are cut to length to suit the stairs. However a straight stairlift would not work on these stairs as an additional step has been put in a step or two along from the top of the main flight.
The Solution!
Although a straight stairlift won’t work here a curved stairlift can be made to be straight?!
Curved Stairlifts in the main run on bespoke, made to measure rails. These rails can be straightened out to provide a solution here. The Platinum Curve Stairlift is even a bit cheaper without any bends (Curved stairlifts very rarely need wall support, however when turned straight they need a bit of extra support as you can see below). The rail is made to cover all steps and in this case includes the additional step that the user would struggle with.
Platinum Curve Stairlifts can be found here. They are usually surveyed and fitted within 4 weeks. Surveys are free and without obligation. Please contact us here to arrange a survey.
