OPTIONAL EXTRAS
This stairlift offers several optional extras depending on your personal circumstances and requirements:
Powered Swivel Seat, the seat will turn 90 degrees onto the landing under its own power if required
“Turn & Go”, Turn & Go combines the powered swivel function with a Classic, Elegance or Alliance seat that can move up the stairs at an angle of 70 degrees. This way, Handicare can also serve customers with extremely narrow stairs. The Turn & Go feature is also a suitable solution for people who, for example, have trouble bending their knees.
“Powered Footrest”, The new powered footrest upgrades both the comfort and safety of the Handicare Elegance and Alliance seat. It makes it much easier to sit down or stand up and allows you to raise and lower the footrest automatically whilst seated, using the switch in the seat arm. Moreover, the unique LED lighting illuminates the footrest at night, making it safer for other users of the stairs.
“Voice Connect” to enable emergency telephone contact directly from your stairlift.
Automatic Hinged Rail
“Active Seat”, Active seat option makes it much easier to get in or out of the stairlift seat. The patented spring system, which is discreetly integrated under the seat, is activated by a pull of the handle. Putting your hands on the armrests to stand up, the Active seat will slightly tilt forward and gently push you up, supporting your movements. It will cost you less effort to get out of the seat and it significantly decreases the strain on your joints and muscles. When sitting down you will feel the gentle support as well, just where you need it. In sitting position the system is locked again and the stairlift is ready for use. To ensure the right amount of support for the user, the Active seat spring system can be supplied in different strengths, based on user weight.
